Why Apple’s iPhone 16 Is Playing It Too Safe

Apple built its reputation on telling you what you want before you know you want it. The iPhone 16 doesn’t do that. A repositioned camera button and a faster chip are fine, but from the company that killed the headphone jack and removed the home button, fine isn’t enough. Competitors are shipping phones with variable aperture lenses and genuinely useful AI features right now.
